Daymer Bay Iced Teas

12x500ml - Ambient Product

Launched in Cornwall last year, these iced teas have their roots planted firmly between the traditional and established iced tea culture, far more prevalent in the US, and the modern surf culture of the north coast of Cornwall.  The result is a refined product that holds its own against a world of stiff competition. 

Flavours to choose from include four dark teas – Peach, Mango, Lemon and Pomegranate – and two green teas – Elderflower and Apple.  All of them are made using fruit from sustainable farms and responsible growers around the world and tea from Sri Lanka.  Daymer Bay are committed to producing a fat free, artificial additive free, preservative free product with no added sugar, but they have also delivered a refreshing, healthy drink made from ethically sound ingredients and practices.

New York Pastrami

1.5kg ME0189 – Chilled Product, available sliced

A delicious, award winning cooked meat, made by hand to Southover’s own recipe in the Southover Cooked Meat kitchens.  This product is available whole or sliced and has been carefully refined over the company’s twenty three year history of producing high quality cooked meats.

The result is a unique product that stands apart from other pastramis with its distinctive flavour, texture and characteristic quality.  Made specifically for the catering industry this product is robust and can be carved, machine sliced or supplied ready sliced in gas-flushed packaging.  In all our years of trading this product has never fallen out of favour and as we deliver direct you can enjoy this high quality at manufacturer prices.

Sliced Avocado

3x1kg DF0119 – Frozen Product

1kg packs of individually quick frozen slices of ripe avocado in easy to use vacuum packaging.  This product is one of our most successful new lines as it is such a versatile, money and time saving ingredient.  Slices can be decanted from the freezer as required and thawed to provide a fresh product that will give you up to seven hours defrosted life with no blackening in that time.

Thanks to modern freezing technology there are no preservatives or additives in this product, allowing you to deliver fresh flavour every day without the time consuming and wasteful peeling and stoning process that makes avocado such an intensive ingredient.  And at approximately 75g per slice you are getting excellent portion control.  Couple that with a low price and you have a product that should be impossible to ignore.

Tasca Breads

24x50g – Frozen Product

This bakery innovation has been causing something of a stir in the catering trade and is rapidly gathering momentum as it challenges popular sandwich choices such as panninis and baguettes for their place as leading bakery choices in the sandwich sector.

The tasca bread is an Italian style soft bread pocket that has been carefully frozen and pre-treated to ensure a totally soggy-free defrost and easy splitting every time. The product is extremely low in salt and fat and free from any additives, preservatives and GM ingredients. They can be defrosted and used straight away, grilled or pressed in the griddle and whatever you do with them they retain a flavoursome softness that sets them apart from other breads.

More Food Round Cakes

10" – Frozen Product

We were recently able to expand the More Food selection of round cakes and they’ve proved a solid success.  The new flavours include anything from Apple & Blackcurrant Crumble to Luxury Chocolate & Orange and this expanded choice has served to consolidate More Food’s position as one of our leading local suppliers.

The hand made, traditional quality is still very much present in the expanded range and all the new flavours have blended perfectly with the range of old favourites and modern recipes.  There are now fourteen flavours in the More Food selection of round cakes, making it comprehensive to say the least and able to provide all of our customers with more than enough choice without ever having to compromise on flavour or quality.

Somerset Brie

2.5kg CH0120 – Chilled Product

One of our finest vegetarian cheeses, produced using traditional methods in the heart of the West Country.  This brie is milder than the French variety due to differences in climate, soil and production methods and has the distinctive white, edible rind that the product is known for.

The Somerset Brie takes six weeks to mature and in that time it acquires a straw like colour inside and develops an aroma of mushrooms and freshly cut grass that is distinctive from other brie.  It is suitable for vegetarians and free from any additives or preservatives.

Lentil and Pumpkin Hotpot

4x2ltr SO0310 – Chilled Product, made fresh to order

Soulful Food are known for their seasonal favourites and nothing captures the feeling of Autumn like their new, freshly made Lentil & Pumpkin Hotpot soup.  A warming blend of fresh pumpkin, lentils and seasoning, this soup is made to order and as it’s fresh when you get it, the flavours are as defined as you could possibly expect.

Soulful Food don’t use any preservatives or additives so when you read the name of the product, that’s pretty much what you get.  The range of ingredients is seasonal and responsibly sourced, allowing Soulful Food to create a unique menu offering traditional, exotic and modern flavours from around the world.
